The 120th American Sociological Association Annual Meeting will be held August 8-12, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. The online portal is open for submissions and proposals. The deadline to submit is Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. In addition to paper/extended abstract submissions, proposals are being accepted for courses, workshops, preconferences, the Sociology in Practice Settings Symposium, and the Teaching and Learning Symposium. Registration is now open for the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS) Annual Meeting. Join us in Berkeley on February 27, 2025 for an in-person conference on developments in research transparency. This year’s meeting will feature talks on metascience research methods, open science and policy, and replication. Our keynote speaker will be Brian Nosek, Executive Director of the Center for Open Science, who will share insights into how the research culture is evolving and what we, as a community, can do to improve the use of open science principles and methods. The Interdisciplinary Association for Population Health Science (IAPHS) 2025 annual meeting theme is “Community Engagement in Population Health Science.” The meeting will be held September 8-11, 2025 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Abstract and panel submissions are now open, through March 10, 2025. Submit here. In addition, each year the IAPHS offers seven award opportunities for members of the organization.
