Representatives from NIH Institutes and Centers will meet to discuss behavioral and social sciences-relevant topics. This is a good way to understand their funding priorities.

8th Conference of the European Survey Research Association will take place 15th-19th July 2019 in Zagreb, Croatia. The ESRA Conference Committee is now inviting researchers who are active in the field of survey research, survey methodology and data analysis to submit proposals for individual paper and poster presentations for the conference. Proposals are invited in any area of survey methodology, or in substantive applications of survey research. We encourage proposals from researchers with a variety of backgrounds, including academic research, national statistics and market research. American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR): Call for Abstracts. The American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) is pleased to announce that its 74th Annual Conference will be held at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, May 16-19, 2019. AAPOR seeks proposals for full panel, individual paper, methodological brief, and posters sessions. Submissions on any topic across public opinion, survey and social science research will be considered for the 2019 Annual Conference. Submissions will be grouped into the following conference tracksAll Abstracts should be submitted electronically by Monday, November 12, 11:59 a.m. (EST).  Important Dates: Papers, Methodological Briefs and Poster Abstracts: November 12, 2018. Panel Proposals: November 12, 2018, Acceptance notification: Mid-January, 2019. LMICs on Friday, February 22, 2019 and have released a call for abstracts. Deadline for submission of abstracts: October 12, 2018. This workshop is designed to share leading research methods and findings on comparative patterns of adult mortality, mortality determinants, and risk factors in low and middle-income countries (LMICs), following-up on workshops held on this topic at USC and Berkeley in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
